My name is Niclas. I am a second-year mathematics undergraduate at the Technical University of Munich. I am an Atlas Fellow (2022), a winner of the National Student Championships in Computer Science (Germany; 2020), and am supported by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.
In terms of mathematical fields, I am fascinated by probability theory, statistics, and the mathematical foundations of machine learning. Last summer, I co-authored my first paper on Universal Approximation for Efficient Transformers.
Besides the university, I spend time thinking about founding a company, optimizing my productivity system, and writing as much as possible. I am interested in having a significant positive impact on our world.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, running in new cities, and meeting new people.
